Unless you are doing some sort of number crunching or multi threaded program to do renderings or MATLAB, you shouldn't be pushing an overclock thinking there will be some sort of Now here are the tools to find out. But it doesn't seem to happen at stock CPU speeds.

  • Before I even updated the BIOS, I loaded default factory settings then I updated the BIOS.
  • I ordered the parts from Newegg and constructed them myself.
  • To expedite this process, and put all chips (no pun intended) on the table, conduct burn-in testing when the system is not overclocked.
  • You may be over-volting your CPU or RAM.
  • It's no longer freezing.
  • There must have been vdroop.
